Fire risk assessment for communal areas
A fire risk assessment is a 20- to 30-page document.
Our surveyors will observe and check your property for any fire risks. For example, the type of construction, fire exits, fire doors, fire alarms, smoke detectors, your current fire safety policies, and more will help us determine which of our fire safety services are relevant to your requirements. Our recommendations are in our fire risk report, which you will receive by email. We request that you provide the correct certifications to demonstrate that any previous testing is up-to-date.
If you need help updating your current certification, we can help, as we have our engineers to carry out the testing.

What happens after I place my fire risk assessment order?
You will receive an email confirming your fire risk assessment order and the date and approximate time for one of our surveyors to attend your property or requested site location.
Our London fire risk assessment surveyor will then conduct the assessment, taking notes of everything in the specified area being assessed and noting what safety measures are currently in place.
After the survey, the surveyor returns the information to the office, where the fire risk assessment report is ready to email you in PDF format. The report is typically a 20——to 30-page document that includes your property's characteristics, survey results, and possible recommendations based on what you have in your property.
This is your copy to keep for your records or to assist you if recommendations are noted on the report. Note that this live document can be updated and changed as recommendations arise or legislation changes.
The time it takes to complete a fire risk assessment varies depending on the property, the environment, and the system in place.
Please remember that our surveyor will contact you if they are running late on their daily testing visits, and we will do our best to get to you on time.
The recommended retest date will be written on the fire risk assessment, and we will send you a reminder one month before it is due to expire so that you have time to rebook before it expires.
You have two ways to pay: either upfront online via the website, or you will be invoiced on completion of testing. However, certification will not be released until payment is made unless you are an existing account customer or this has been pre-agreed.
Simple booking: Our team of experienced staff and qualified fire surveyor engineers works hard to give you the best service at the best price.
