To get the total number of circuits, determine how many switches you have in each fuse board. A property with 2 fuse boards, 10 switches on one board and 8 on another, has 18 circuits.

What happens after placing my order, you will get an email confirming your Eicr order with the date and approximate time for one of our experienced London engineers to attend your Property or the requested site location.

Our electrical engineer will then carry out the electrical safety inspection condition report on your home electrical circuits and check for damaged items and your fuse board throughout the property, collecting all the information required for the electrical safety report.

After the electrical report and testing are complete, the engineer will return the information to the office, where the report will be ready to email you in PDF format. The report is normally a 7-page document with the characteristics of your electrical system, testing results, and possible recommendations depending on the safety testing and results found on your property. This is your copy to keep for your records or to assist you if any recommendations are noted on the electrical report.

The time to complete EICR testing can vary depending on the testing environment and the system you have on the property.

Note that we can put multiple engineers on request for some larger jobs.

Please note that our London electrical engineers will contact you if they run behind on their daily visits for the testing. We endeavour to get to you on time.

The recommended retest date will be on the electrical certification provided. We will send a reminder one month before the electrical inspection report expires, giving you time to rebook before it expires.

You have two ways to pay upfront online via the website, or you will be invoiced upon

completion of testing, but note that electrical certification will not be released until payment is made. Unless you are an existing account customer or this has been pre-agreed.

Key Info for Clients

• Payment Terms: Orders below £300 must be paid in advance.
• Cancellation Policy: You can cancel up to 48 hours before your scheduled visit for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable, as we've allocated engineers and resources to your job.
• Access Requirements: Engineers must have access to the premises at the scheduled time. If access is denied or no one is available to grant entry, full payment for the service is required to cover allocated resources.
• Appointment Times: Booking times are guide times (AM/PM) due to potential London transport delays and job extensions. We aim to meet these times and will communicate any necessary adjustments.

Please ensure availability for engineer access and note that while we strive to adhere to scheduled times, flexibility helps us maintain service quality.

Our EICR Testing Certificates return time is between 24 and 48 hrs after site visit. Via email only in pdf format
